Our convertible tops for the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 1967-1969 are available in two materials. Factory original material was Pinpoint. We offer this top in the following materials:
Pinpoint: Vinyl made in America by Haartz. A two ply composite made of a PVC outer layer and a cotton lining fabric. This material is used as an aftermarket replacement.
Stayfast: Cloth made in America by Haartz. This is a three-ply composite material made of an acrylic square weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a cotton lining. This material is original on such vehicles as the Chevrolet Camaro, Mazda Miata, Dodge Viper and the Bentley Azure.
