The original colors were black, brown, tan and blue (all with the tan backing). Tan backing means that we you sit in the car and look up you see tan, this is because this car has no original headliner for the soft top so you are seeing the back side of the canvas. Twillfast II: Cloth made in America by Haartz. Look and feel is similar to German Sonnenland. This is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, an elastomeric inner layer and a polyester/cotton lining fabric. This material is original on such vehicles as the Dodge Viper, BMW Z3 and Z8 Roadsters, VW Golf and the Chevrolet Corvette.
Sonnenland A5.3: Premium cloth made in Germany by Haartz. Quality exceeds that of Sonnenland Classic. An acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a polyester lining fabric.
